I often visit this place if i go to brighton for work. This is a no nonsense snack bar which sells basic sandwiches and breakfast food.
Today i had 2 bacon 2 sausage 1 egg mushrooms a slice of toast and coffee. This cost 5 pounds. The sausages were fat and very meaty 4 sausages from a cafe and the smoky bacon was well cooked. The fried egg came with the yoke hard which is how i like it. The toast was thick white bread. The coffee was average instant coffee though quite passable. For 5 pounds this is great value 4 somewhere so close to the railway station.
The woman who runs it along with her partner joe is really called sue it seems. Her voice sounds like she is about to peg out or burst in to tears and joe somethines breaks out into random song. They are both a little etcentrick perhaps but the food is great quality.
